In extensive field trials in five US states, commercial beekeeper Beehive Hawaii was able to successfully verify the effectiveness of our protective hive insulation and mold resistant coatings in protecting bees against disease and observed increased brood productivity and honey production in the hives coated with Nansulate Bee Protect.

Nansulate® Bee Protect White Top Coat Product Details
White protective hive insulation coating - tintable.
We recommend a minimum of 4 coats Nansulate Bee Protect Clear and 2 coats Nansulate Bee Protect White Top Coat on the exterior of the hive (including top and bottom).
1 gallon of Bee Protect White Top Coat will cover 450 S.F. at 1 coat, and 225 S.F. at the recommended 2 coats

Clear protective hive insulation coating.
We recommend a minimum of 4 coats Nansulate Bee Protect Clear and 2 coats Nansulate Bee Protect White Top Coat on the exterior of the hive (including top and bottom).
1 gallon of Bee Protect Clear will cover 450 S.F. at 1 coat, and 112 S.F. at the recommended 4 coats.
